Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian curriculum and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary. Your ongoing financial support ensures that our school can enhance the learning experience beyond the mandated curriculum.
We want to thank you for all your support, whether that is through your voluntary contributions, fundraising or volunteering your time. This has made a huge difference to our school and the programs we can offer.
Within our school this support has allowed us to organise and coordinate the best possible program to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom and beyond. These financial contributions assist us with purchasing materials for the Creative Arts, Physical Education, Science, Technology and Digital Learning and a variety of experiences such as specialist incursions and excursions.
Please refer to Flowerdale Primary School’s voluntary Parent Payment Arrangements for 2026, which includes an overview of the Department of Education's Parent Payments Policy and what your contributions will help us to provide.
Please note - there will be no individual book packs provided to students in 2026. All necessary consumable items will be supplied directly to classrooms in bulk and will be distributed to students as and when they are needed.
Payments can be made via cash, BPay (using your families unique BPay reference - provided by the school upon request), or Direct Deposit (contact Cherie Graham, Business Manager, for banking details).
Flowerdale Primary School understands that some families may experience financial difficulty and offers a range of support options. For a confidential discussion about accessing these services, or if you would like to discuss alternative payment arrangements, please contact Meg James (Acting Principal) or Cherie Graham (Business Manager) on 03 5780 1264 or email flowerdale.ps@education.vic.gov.au.
